Gary is amazing. He is not your ‘normal DJ’ who puts CDs into a machine and stands under flashing lights. Gary really gets involved – dances and entertains at the same time. His real talent is as Austin Powers – he dresses as Austin and really ‘gets going’. He can do an evening’s entertainment as DJ and then do an Austin Powers floor show.
Gary is the only authorised individual by Warner Bros & New Line Cinema to perform as Austin Powers, so you know you will have the real deal when Austin performs at your function.
Gary has performed this role on hundreds of occasions since 2000 and still entertains literally thousands of people every year.
Austin Powers aka Gary is a Man of many skills and talents, from dance routines, singing those well-known 60’s tunes, to enticing the crowd to participate in events and capture the energy around them. ATAINZ used Gary Brown as a DJ and Karaoke host for our Friday Night function. He was outstanding. Who knew so many Accountants had a desire to be "Rock Stars!" We also had Austin Powers as our main entertainment for our Awards Dinner on the Saturday Night, and he was sensational. Within 10 minutes the room was up dancing and they didn't stop until he finished. He even came back late in the night and played another set due to demand. I hope you have had a chance to catch up on some well-deserved r&r, and recharge your mojo – boy do you give your performance everything and I can’t thank you enough for doing so. Our many many thanks for Friday night, you were spectacular, I haven’t laughed so much in ages. Our nurses were raving about you, I heard so many great accolades on Saturday morning about how much they had enjoyed their night and nurses don’t give high praise away easily. Anna whose birthday it was said you were her favourite thing about the conference and you made her birthday.
I’m still chuckling over Friday night and the photos are fab (check out our facebook page in the next few days). Thanks for taking photos with the nurses – they just loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed your performance as Austin as did all my colleagues – you're amazing, but I also really enjoyed talking with you. We asked Gary to perform at our annual outdoor concert at Acacia Bay in Taupo where we have approx 300 people gathered on our back lawn. Gary as Austin Powers was stunning, he was so talented the crowd were mesmerised by his ability. Gary was totally professional and was pleasure to deal with. Gary was a big hit at our mothers 80th birthday. They were quite a conservative bunch and Gary had to work hard to crack a smile from some of the older folk – but smile they did and enjoy we all did! Gary is a great entertainer and all – both young and old - were totally captured by his entertaining abilities. I am especially glad the older folk felt very special that such a celebrity would attend the event (even though he told them who he really was). Gary really is a great entertainer and his no fuss approach brought an element of surprise which made it so much more enjoyable. It really was a pleasure to have worked with Gary that day and especially to see how much our mum and all her friends enjoyed the show.
