Roger Gascoigne MNZM is one of NZ's best loved television presenters

Roger has been a radio broadcaster all his working life since the 1960's working as a Radio Windy original 1973-75 and 1982-1990 in Wellington, as a guest announcer on ZMFM, Classic Hits, NewstalkZB, Capital Radio London, 6VA Albany, WA, TVW7-6IX Perth, WA, BBC Radio 2005-7 and on National Radio since 2003

Roger worked for Television One from 1975 - 1990 and was a familiar face to all New Zealanders during that time. Roger was the the original presenter of Ready to Roll, his television work reaching across many different dimensions over more than twenty years. He hosted major shows including the 1984 Olympics, Miss New Zealand, almost every Telethon, Video Phone Shows, Game shows included Stumpers and Credit card. He did the news with Today Tonight.

His acting appearances as 'self' included Close to Home, and he played parodies of himself in The Motor Show and Peppermint Twist.

Roger has done literally hundreds of both radio and television commercials ranging from stock standard to totally innovative deliveries, character voices and sound effects. He worked for Cable (Saturn) Television 1993 - 2003

Roger is an experienced MC/ Presenter for functions ranging from the NZ Music Awards, Radio Awards, Community Service Awards, NZ Museum’s conference, ATTTO awards presenter. and the Tiger Woods Golf clinic amongst many others.

Roger is well loved, a consummate professional and has spent large chunks of his career with live audiences so can cope with any contingency your event may throw at him.
