Jan Alley is HR consultant specialising in the areas of communication, image, customer service and people development
Jan coaches on topics including interpersonal skills, people management, team leading and conflict resolution. She is also working with emotional intelligence as a new topic.
Jan Alley runs a human resource and training consultancy specialising in the key areas of human resource management, communication skills and customer service. She works with a select group of clients to provide their personnel with the competence and confidence to achieve organisational objectives and to develop the full potential of their human resources. Her consultants work as part of the management team, assessing the current company culture and tailoring their skills and services to meet the specific needs of each individual client.
Jan has had internal training and human resource management positions and directorships and provided external services to a wide range of industries.
Jan’s qualifications include a Diploma in Speech, Drama and Communication Skills from the Trinity College of London (L.T.C.L) as well as from the New Zealand Speech Board (A.S.B) and a. Diploma in Business (Personnel Management and Employee Relations) from the Graduate School of Business, University of Auckland. She is a licensed assessor for Investors in People and a certified TetraMap facilitator.
Jan is Deputy Chairperson of Enterprising Manukau, a member of the Advisory Board for UNITEC School of Communication and a Mentor for Business in the Community and has recently been elected to the Board of Trustees of Glendowie College.
