Judi Grace

Judi is an inspirational speaker and trainer. Winner of the CLEAR Self-Employed Woman of the Year for 1997/98 for Auckland Central, she then went on to win the National title. She was also winner of the 1990 Business and Professional Women’s Association Scholarship and has had her work on communication skills published in business magazines.

Judi had 12 years experience as a teacher. After completing her BA degree in Psychology (under very difficult circumstances) and doing a Diploma in Business Studies, Judi joined Ansett New Zealand as Personnel and Training Officer, responsible for implementing customer service training for all Ansett New Zealand employees. After leaving Ansett, Judi began her own training consultancy and has been running workshops in communication skills, team building and customer service with many organisations and corporate clients. Her company, Judi Grace Consultancy offers training for companies, ranging from interpersonal to communication and assertiveness skills to strategic planning and teambuilding.

She challenges her clients to do out of the ordinary things, amongst them a random act of kindness. Part of her skills come from the depth of her life’s experience. She was previously an Associate Consultant in the Strategic Management Division of Coopers & Lybrand.

Judi uses an accelerated learning approach and all her training is participatory. She works with teams who are experiencing difficulties working together and her communication skills are used to great advantage in the form of coaching and mentoring. She works on a one-to-one basis as she has a strong belief in helping individuals to empower themselves.

Judi always gets excellent evaluations from her clients and they continue to use her services.
