Joe Bennett

Joe is satirical, topical and entertaining — both in his writing and speaking presentations.

Prolific columnist and writer of books written in his inimitiable comic style.

Joe Bennett is English by birth and was raised in Brighton - a town once described as helping the police with their enquiries. Joe went to Cambridge University and went on to teach English in Spain, France, Canada and, from 1987, New Zealand.

In 1998, Joe left the classroom to become a newspaper columnist. His work is syndicated  throughout the country and he's been five times judged NZ Columnist of the Year. He has had over twenty books published both in NZ and throughout the world. His 'Where Underpants Come From', the story of tracing a pair of Warehouse underpants back to source, has been translated into Chinese, Korean, Greek and American.

Joe Bennett is a delightful after dinner speaker who captivates his audience with down to earth humour. As an MC he's even better as he has full rein to orchestrate the proceedings. Whichever way you choose to use Joe's talents you will not be disappointed.
