Alison Leonard

Bubbly radio personality Alison Leonard is a cheeky but professional MC and tells some amusing stories as an after dinner speaker.

Former ballroom dancing champion and judge on Dancing with the Stars and presenter on Good Morning, Alison is now a 10.00-2.00pm host on a popular radio station.

Alison Leonard fell in love with ballroom dancing at the age of five after her big sister dragged her along to dance class.  She has competed in dance competitions nationally and internationally, being chosen to represent New Zealand in 1994 at the South Pacific Dance Championships in Australia. Alison gave up competition dancing in 1997.  She was a judge on all five of Television New Zealand's Dancing with the Stars series (2005-2009).

As well as DWTS,  Alison was part of the Good Morining team for several years and is enjoying a very successful radio career.  She is well loved for her warmth and sense of humour.
