Tongue & Groove
Tongue & Groove are a well known Auckland based corporate band, and have been performing for many years in the Auckland scene.
The line-up consists of 4 members with both female and male vocals and light percussion, guitar, keyboards, saxophone and all the band members sing. They can also do a 3 piece line-up.
For more than a decade, Tongue and Groove has consistently been considered Auckland's premier live band, performing for wedding receptions & company events & private parties New Zealand wide.
With Zara's stunning unique vocals (Zara was the award winning singer in Deep Obsession), Bruce on sax and Stewart on keys, Tongue and Groove perform a wide range of songs to satisfy all age groups, and play only well known songs that everyone loves ranging across 5 decades.
Tongue and Groove are very experienced in choosing the music that will work best to achieve a full dance floor and very adept at reading the audience mood and creating the right cover music mix for their enjoyment. The 3 piece option is recommended for weddings, or if you have a lighter budget. Their 4th member, Charlie-girl on backing vocals, can be added for larger events.
Equipment:
• They have their own PA system suitable for most venues and can add on additional equipment for larger venues.
• They control their own sound and on occasions when required can hire the services of a professional sound technician.
• They have adequate lighting for small to medium sized venues and can hire additional lighting when required.
• The minimum stage size needed is either 4m x 2m or 3m x3m. Larger sizes are preferred but are not essential.
The Band has designer, formal and casual attire suitable for all occasions.
