Samantha Hayes is best known for her presentation role on TV3's Nightline. She is an excellent, professional MC highly in demand for corparate work.

Samantha Hayes has presented Nightline since September 2007. Before moving to Auckland she worked at the 3 News Wellington bureau as Nightline's arts and entertainment reporter and produced and hosted Caffeine and Aspirin, a Saturday morning magazine style show on Radio Active 89FM.

Samantha has five years radio experience, which began at Otago University's Radio One 91FM while she was studying media and politics. She's also enjoyed being an event manager, organising events like One Love - a free outdoor reggae concert held on Waitangi Day that attracted more than 22,000 people and Handle the Jandal - a NZ music video competition and awards night.

Samantha joined the Nightline team as the Wellington-based arts and entertainment reporter in 2006 and has covered stories including Sir Ian McKellen’s tour of New Zealand with The Royal Shakespeare Company and Taika Waititi on his film, Eagle vs Shark. She has also worked in radio as a news editor, producer and announcer. Mark Jennings, TV3’s Director of News and Current Affairs comments: "From the time Samantha arrived at our Auckland newsroom for work experience, it was obvious she was destined to have a strong career in television news. Nightline consistently wins in the key AP18-49 demographic, ahead of competing news programmes. The show provides an overview of the day’s big news stories, along with breaking news from New Zealand and around the world. Samantha is vegetarian, rides horses and has recently started learning how to bake.
