Whether you’re at your favourite bar or club, a friends wedding, your company Christmas party or Dad’s 50th, when the band hits the stage , you want your jaw to hit the floor.
That is THE MONROES musical mission.
A truly international band with its members having performed extensively throughout the UK and The Middle East, and one off dates in Australia, South Africa, India and our bass player even played in Uganda once!!?? …Scary!...they have drawn on their experience and their band chemistry to come up with one of the most exciting live band experiences in New Zealand right now.

THE MONROES cover 50 years of music in a little over 3 hours, from Johnny B Goode to Katy Perry, AC/DC to I Will Survive and unlike most set-list reading bands, they have honed the art of reading the crowd and adapting their repertoire over the course of the night to suit the audiences tastes. One thing is for sure, the dance floor is always packed, and people are always smiling which is the main ingredient of any great night out.
THE MONROES are proud to have both female and male vocals giving them true versatility, but it’s the stage show that the band is most proud of. Energy, Excitement, Entertainment…And that’s just adjectives brought to you by the letter E….This is one band that will excite your senses and exceed your expectations.

- 90000 people at Hamilton’s ‘Balloons over Waikato’ Festival
- 20000 people New Years Eve 2012 Napier Sound Shell
- 10000 people New Years Eve 2013 Palmerston North Town Square
- 7500 people Hamilton Rugby World Cup Final celebrations
- Performing as the backing band for Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top in 2012 and 2013
- One off shows in Australia and Chennai, India in 2012 and 2013.
- Performing our 3000th Show.
