Linda Clark was one of New Zealand’s most influential journalists and interviewers when in 2006 she retired from Radio New Zealand’s Nine to Noon programme to take up studying for a law degree. A long time political editor, she is still in demand as a political commentator. These days she works at one of Wellington’s largest public law firms. Her clients include some of the country's biggest corporates and state owned enterprises.

Linda Clark was one this country's most respected journalists when in 2006 she decided to resign after four years as host of National Radio's Nine to Noon show to study law at Victoria University. In a twenty year career in journalism Linda worked in print, television and radio. In twenty years of journalism Linda had covered seven elections and won awards in print, television and radio, including the Qantas Award for Best Current Affairs Story in 1992, the Qantas Award for Best News Reporting in 1994 and the Asia 2000 prize for journalism. She has held some of the most prestigious jobs in the media, including being TVNZ's political editor for seven years.

Linda has held some of the most prestigious jobs in the New Zealand media. She covered seven elections, for many years leading TVNZ’s Political Bureau. She has hosted weekly current affairs television shows, presented the late news and edited a monthly women’s magazine. Since ending her media career, Linda's communication skills, her insights into the media and her political nous have been sought by some of New Zealand's leading corporates. While completing her law degree she is working as a consultant at Chapman Tripp, based in Wellington. Linda is a highly sought after public speaker and an excellent MC who can think on her feet and deliver the successful outcome you desire for your event. Linda has given motivational speeches; delivered presentations to professional groups on public perceptions and on the challenging subject of how to deal with the media. She has also facilitated book readings and science forums.

In 2009, she facilitated Social Welfare Minister Paula Bennet’s Experts’ Forum on Child Abuse. She continues to provide weekly political commentary on TV3’s Sunrise programme and most recently is facilitator on TV3's The Vote.
